[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Help building my upper

Hey I am new to the site and to building rifles. I am finished building my complete lower receiver and just received most of the parts I need to build my upper. Is there anyone in salt lake/Utah county willing to help me put together my upper or lend me an armorers tool? I would love some pointers to make sure I do it right. Thanks.

Where in the valley are you? I've got all the tools but I don't have a vice setup right now.

I'm just down the road from you in WJ. If you have a vice I can swing by, we'll be done in 10 minutes. If not, I can dig mine out and get it mounted. Are you installing a rail?

No I don't have a vice. I have a 10 inch free float coming in the mail Tuesday. I have all the other parts I need beside that though.

I'll clear a spot on my workbench and get it mounted. Shoot me an IM when your rail comes in and let's get this done.

Which free float? Is it a stripped upper? Flat top?

Thanks man! Flat top aero precision upper with forward assist and dust cover, bcm gunfighter charging handle , ds arms np3 coated complete BCG. 16 inch cmmg barrel, Yankee hill low profile gas block and tube with roll pin. veriforce tactical 10 inch free float. Need a muzzle device still. Am I forgetting anything?

Older thread, however i have all of the tools and a portable vice.
(Vice is on a craftsman grinder stand)
