I own an AR-15, but I want to build an AR pistol. I do not have an AR pistol lower yet because stripped lowers are really difficult to find right now. But I was thinking of buying all the other parts right now. I know it is illegal to posses a short-barreled upper if you have an ar-15 and do not have an ar-15 pistol lower. So my question is....Could I buy the AR pistol upper and have it sent to my Mom's house (30 minutes away) and have her keep it there until I obtain an AR pistol lower? Thanks!
