Myself and a few co-workers are trying to find a hunter education class to take before the tag application deadline that was extended to Feb. 18th.  Are there any instructors in Utah?  We would have at least 3 people and possibly up to 6 or 7 to certify.  It is crazy that some classes are up to 15 hours long.  My CCW class was only around 4 hours and that included the range time.  Thanks.

Can you give me a link?  Do you have to have an instructor to do the shooting part?  Anything over 3-4 hours is just crazy for a hunter education course.

You can take the online course and sign up for the shooting/test here:  www.wildlife.utah.gov/huntereducation/schedule/index.html.  It looks like it still takes a minimum of 5 hours to complete.

If you have completed hunters ed for some other state, Utah will recognize it.
