look at it this way.  you didnt have whatever for so long.  so waiting a month or two or more wont hurt.  you will get it when its time.

Not that I'm really concerned about whatever Sunnyside is getting,  but our government really shouldn't have their fingers that deep up our asses to keep it's civilians from having our firearms.

It took me 4 weeks to get my passport (which I think is now expired...),  but it took me 9 months to get my suppressor paperwork.  Seriously?  Why don't they keep better records with their database,  being that they know all the NFA stuff I own already,  they could easily look up "Oh, hey,  this guy has gone through this before...  Less than a year ago.  Check if he has been wanted for any felonies in the last year... Nope... Ok,  stamped".

Our system is so broken,  and it really needs to get a fix.  Reduced government control can eliminate serious waste,  and speed up everything for the civilians.

youre using your brain.  thats the problem.  quit using it and you would see why is that way it is.

do you really belive that the govmt is about speed?  do you belive in pink unicorns too?  govmt is designed to be slow and wasteful.

I like that they are loosing examiners...even though the demand and shear number of people getting on board the NFA bandwagon has and keeps increasing....you'd think our government would wanna keep the easy 200 bucks a pop tax money flowing as freely as possible?!

Aww CRAP!  I sent my form for a can on 5/27 and another just a couple of weeks ago.  Looks like it's going to be awhile.  Yeah, you'd think that having other NFA items would make the process real easy.

The problem is that we have the NFA to begin with. If the NRA really represented us they would sue to overturn the law.

Anytime an underage illegal alien girl has to wait more than five minutes for her taxpayer funded abortion you see NARAL and the ACLU suing the pants off of everybody. But if I want a rifle with a barrel shorter than 16" I have to beg for permission, wait forever and then pay for the privilege?

I totally agree that its a sham and a shame that she gets to kill her baby for free on her timetable and our dime, but then we have all these hoops and fees just to get some "hearing protection"; just stupid and it sucks.

But, I don't think this is even on the NRA's radar, and won't be for a LOOOOONG time.  Heck, NRA just finally started acknowledging that the black rifle crowd existed a couple years ago.  Before that they were just revolvers, lever actions, and '03 Springfields.  My personal belief is that the NRA is just like any other business; the people running it have a first priority; themselves.  I'm not saying they're horrible, or a detriment.  They've done lots of good things, but my personal opinion is that the NRA is fairly narrow-minded and doesn't share most my interests as a firearms owner and enthusiast.  I think the reason they started giving some time to black rifles is because some of their major corporate sponsors started producing them (or bought companies who did –– Bushwhacker) and they had to prop up those product lines by writing/producing 4-page full color articles advertisements for them...  Now they finally realize there is a large market share of nutjobz like me with a few bucks to spend buying the rifles and then spending even more to accessorize them appropriately.  If some of the NFA manufacturers got on board with pushing for some type of NFA repeal or change, I think that would help the cause way more than just the NRA trying to do it.  Think if you could just roll into Pat's shop or Tornado Tech and pick up an SBR or can off the shelf, pay for it (no tax), and walk out the door.  How many more of those items would you own???

Anyways, off to church now...

You could file a lawsuit claiming your 2nd Amendment Rights are indeed being infringed.

Get NFA overturned.  I'll donate some money to help.
