[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Hunting this Fall

Put my party's apps in today for this fall's buck season.

I know, a bit late, but in is in.

Who's already in? Where did everyone apply for?

134, 135, 136, 137, 177 for us in that order.

We hunted 177 (Fort Rock) last year with no success.

Camp across from us had a rack quite similar, we were all a little irritated with it hanging on the tree by about day 6. LOL

Isn't Biggs a low issue count and alot of private land?

Thanks. Yes, it is mostly private land. I think there is only 15% public.

I had mine in Jan 2nd :)

It's spring bear season...only been twice, every other chance I've had has been shitty weather...been waiting for a nice weekend to take a 4 day weekend.

lookout mountain for deer. Archery elk
Last years buck. shot him in the head with the 300 win mag, thats why his mouth is hanging open

Father in law's buck from last year.

12 Y/O son's first elk, a small cow, last year lookout mountain

There are bear tags available during the spring in virtually all units minus some desert units & the Willamette valley. Fall the tag is good state wide.
