With at least a few of us looking for work maybe a thread where we could pool our resources might be good.
What do you all think? CH |
| Clark County civil service? Is the Sheriff's office/corrections department hiring? I understand that lots of people who work in the jails make good money and often get alot of overtime. And I don't think there would be much chance of "business" decreasing enough to warrant layoffs...although it is a nice thought. I think it would be great if the criminals decided to only do legal things, so that we wouldn't need as many police, judges, jailers, correctional officers and so on. But I think that is not very likely. |

Nasty. I used to drive past their place on Johnson Creek every day on the way to my dad's office. Mixed Novell/AD environment....gradually migrating to AD only. Senior Admin took a position in Connecticut and a long time programmer retired today (he had been there as long as I have been breathing!). Nick |

Saying any more about the inner workings on an open board would prolly be more then I should be discussing, however. Want a VPN token? Lol Nick |

I always have an ear to the ground when it comes to job stuff. |

The plans versus how many admins they have is crazy though. At this time we have some 3000 users and about 1100 machines in AD....and 3 admins. Nick |

Does this mean that the site staff is going to make you turn in your ban hammer???
