I'm not finding any CLP in Portland. Any one know where I can pick up some?
Thanks |

Fisherman Marine Supply in Oregon City has a fair amount of it last time I was in there. The Sandy and Damascus Bi-Mart also had it. Perfect - thanks I was just down the road when you posted this. THANKS ARFCom. I went to GIJoes, Sportsmans and BiMart in Gresham, no luck. Fisherman's has a good supply As a side bar - Sportsmans is a shell of what it once was. Handgun 'wall' had < 10. Ammo - almost bare. Just niche big bore. My guess is they are not long for this world. |

Some Canadian company bought Sportsman's after the bankruptcy. Not sure if GI Joes has a buyer yet. That's where I've bought my CLP in the past. Yeah - just sad. I understand there's a lot of overhead in a store like that - SW must have 200K in taxidermy alone. It just seems to me that if you had the right mix of hunting and sporting arms and used your volume purchasing power to keep prices low - you'd makea killing. But I'm no Harvard MBA. |

You are exactly right. I think there is a name for that model. It's called Bi Mart and it is employee owned and Oregon based I believe. So as I say " Think globally, buy your guns and ammo locally." |
