We are having a huge show sale... all AR's must go. We have 52 Dpms left as of friday evening and 3 rock rivers but we still have a ton of american AK's. What is it that we don't have that you guys would like to see? I want answers... positive answers guys! I can't get full auto or suppressors for you but I have a class three partner that I can hook you up with. We are blowing the doors off of the Expo this weekend. I have a Ma-Duece ready to roll... thousands of rounds of API BMG, .308, .223/5.56 and most of the popular auto hand gun rounds. If I don't have it, I can get it minus the above mentioned and some specialty rounds. AR lowers? I have a bunch... Dpms, Roggio, and M&P.... That's right we have Smithy's. Sorry, no uppers... yet!

How about some better prices.

I didn't know businesses could advertise on this site without consent of the staff. Did arfcom change the rules?

I didn't see any list of rules when I signed up... are you against being informed and can you be more specific in regards to prices? What am I to lower prices on, and what price should I put on them to make you happy?

I have been to your store. I wanted to buy a ps90 but not for 200.00 more then any one else is selling them for. What I loved was the guy behind
the counter telling me he is getting 2 inch groups at 1500 yards with a ps90? or how about a glock 30 for 650.00 i drove 10 miles into beaverton
and only paid 550.00

The rules state that you can't be posting info about your own business or make gun sales outside of the equipment exchange while on the board.

The only exception is if you are paid up with ARFcom as a dealer.

WOW, where to start.
First off there is a red tab that says Conduct Code on the upper right side of the screen. You should probably click on it and look up "Specific to Sales".
Specific To Sales
1.) Companies or individuals cannot advertise or sell products and or services in the forums (including siglines and titles) without prior approval from the site owners. (Industry Partners are allowed to post sales or specials on a limited basis.) Did it for you to save you time.

Secondly I have been to your store 3 times in the last 3 months. You have a great selection of everything I buy and am currently stocking up on. The problem is your prices are at least 20% higher then most other places.
Case in point, AIM has FEG AMD 65's for 550+ my FFLs transfer comes to 560$. They also have YUGO M70AB2 underfolders for 650+ 10 transfer is 660.
What are your prices on these rifles?  I would guess you dont have the balls to post your jacked prices on these guns.
And 650 for a Glock? WTF over.

A free market is great, I am free to shop around and get the best price I can on the things I want.

You see I am as you put it " Informed" and that is why you have not seen a dime of my money.

I'm always happy to browse a gun store's selection but not when you want your customers who have a CHL to disarm.

What to change prices on? Last time i was in there (granted that was many months ago) You had a GSG-5P for $950. $950. You do realize those are widely available online (and at other non-jacked stores) for $500 right?

Is your business model completely based on the ignorant impulse buyer? Please have some respect for your customers. I will say one thing though, you have excellent selection and its fun to browse. But i wont buy anything there until the prices are in the realm of sanity.

Oh well. This thread is getting locked anyway - it may be BS how arfcom likes to extort its users but they are the ones with the bansticks so you should read up and follow the rules.

well now.........................what we have here is a failure to communicate..............

now we can be a nice group or we can be one mean sum of a bitch.

ok........ok........what is being said is pretty clear i think.  you have a great selection of guns.  you could be a really nice gun shop.  but instead of charging our first born child and then having to negotiate it down from there, just put a fair friggin price on the shit in the first place.  then you will get more customers.  it  works at other places, it'll work for you.

and in honesty man, no one believes the mantra that you guys are shoveling out.................that you got the guns in stock because you went out over paid for them just to get them in for us.  you bought them well before this whole economy thing went south for guns.   you didn't over pay.  of that i am sure.

Wow, someones internet balls are pretty big tonight.

I understand your meat curtains may of got hurt by some of the responses here, but it may be time to grow up a little. .

If you want to sell a Glock for $650, that's your choice. It's also my choice to laugh at you and go else where and pay $500-550. You asked, they spoke, if you don't like the answers you get, there's no need for name calling.

Thanks for confirming to me that yours is a place that I won't be supporting with my patronage.

If you have a problem with anything I've said tonight, no need to call, just go pound sand.

The rules are pretty simple here.  If you want to advertise your business, do it in the appropriate forum.

Now, do us all a favor and go someplace far away and take your attitude with you.  I've been to your store and I know exactly who you are.  Several of my teammates and I listened to you wax poetic on rifles and tactics to some poor unsuspecting customer and we walked out laughing our asses off.  Guys who do the job for real can easily spot a hack.  You've garnered quite the reputation for being the idiot at that store who dispenses bad advice and misinformation.  Now run along...

Again Grump1, you really need to read the Conduct Code that is in red on the upper right of every screen.

another case in point then.........................

Pantherâ„¢ LR-308AP4.  The manufacture list price is $1264.  Now that price is set high so the companies retailers can look good when they list what they sell it for.  looking on the net, and at other dpms dealers, the price would appear to be about $1050.  your price....................$1499, and that is listed as your "blow away sales price"................?

look, i'm not trying to piss you off partner.  you asked for examples and you asked for comments.  if your mark up is only 10% (as you told me) then you paid over list price when you bought this to resell it and i doubt that you would do that.  if you did pay that much, then if i were you, i would put a copy of my invoice out for people to see because no one will believe you otherwise.

you can get as pissed off as you want (but i would be cautious of the name calling........someone may very well take you up on your offer)but the opinions that you read here are not confined to this newsgroup.  i have been around the gun business for a long time and around this area for a long time.  i talk to a lot of people outside of this newsgroup.  what you have read here is but a small little piece of what i have heard from the people in the community that you do business in.  you are going to have to face these comments and the feelings that you have read here because they exist everywhere.  you may be selling a few guns right now but business will slow as the shortages go away.  then you will have only the customers that do business with you because they feel some sort of loyalty to you.  maybe one or two people, the way you are going.

it was nice of you to come on the forum but now you need to face the issues, not try to argue them away.

As big as this group is, I doubt he sees any business after people tell friends the kind of person he is.  And if hes not the owner, I would hope he gets his ass kicked to the curb.  Actions and comments like his can be potential business killers...I hope hes ready for the reprisal.  Freakin troll

Wow. Just wow. You come here to sell your services/goods and end up pissing off a large customer base. Way to go!!!! I vote with my dollars.......you lose. From what I have seen in the store and here, I will not be back.

here is another example sh-on.........

from the dpms website...........

Pantherâ„¢ LR-308

Model: RFLR-308
Sale Price: $1,169.00

from the security store website.............

The standard price for the (DPMS LR-308) DPMS is $1,800.

actually, when not on sale at dpms it is a touch over $1200 for it.  so adding $600 plus dollars to the sale price (on your "blow out sale" event).............well..................come on.  do you really have to ask?

This has just gotten bizzarre. Here's how a normal person deals with something like this:

A: You're prices are higher than X's.

B: Yes they are, but we offer in-stock product, value-added blah blah blah and we think that the overall it's a good deal for our customers. If you stop in then we would be more than willing to see about matching an advertised price from a competitor because we value your bussiness.

Here is how the security store does it:

A: You're prices are higher than X's.

B: Your mother.

That pretty much sums it up.  I've never had a person who wanted my business suggest that his customers fuck their mother because of a pricing argument.
I've heard "Just leave",  or "That price wasn't good enough?  I'm raising it now"... but this one takes some cake.
