Anyone know if a TROS .223 Envoy can handle a 100 round beta dump? It has been a while since I shot it and I put two 30 rounders through it and it was smokin' hot! I had planned on dumping my new beta mag but decided not to after seeing how hot it was after 60.

I know (or heard) that the new KAC sound suppressor is the most durable can on the market today as it can take over a 200 round continuous dump without blowing up. As I understand it that is quite a beating and is the reason the KAC is used by U.S. Special Forces.

So I guess, what does the TROS stand up to?

Your mileage will vary with TROS. I have thread adapters from them and they work wonderfully. Others were on a group buy for his 9mm and .45 cans....but I do not personally know anyone anywhere that owns a TROS .223 can.

I know people personally with Gemtechs, SWR, AAC, SRT, YHM, Tactical Innovations and of course the KAC.

Also seen some Surefires...but in the end..........your mileage may vary.

I don't even know of a gun writer or reviewer that has tested one out for review either.

Your best bet is to try....either silencertests.com or silencerresearch.com

I got mine almost white hot at the Enterprise shoot 2 years ago. You could see the baffles inside from the outside, that was pretty cool. I say go for it
