First things first. Make sure you bring good ammo. 50's surplus LC ammo sucks ass and hits and miss.

2nd thing... Keep things nailed down....things just don't stay in place when firing it at my range.
Bottles were blown over. the car door for a friends Hummer h2 was blown shut from the blast wave of the muzzle brake.

Otherwise..a blast to shoot as long as people stay out of the way.

After a 2nd and 3rd shooting to my neighbors annoyance...I am kinda liking it now. The magazines are kinda flimsy but it's fun to shoot I guess. Just gotta find better ammo.

That recoil looks like nothin!

This last Wednesday AJ brought out his bolt action .50. Those Barretts are fun! It was the first time I had shot one. I think we were using the same ammo as you were and had a few issues. Is that yours?

oh god no. an army buddy owns it. Bugger bought a hummer h2 and a Barrett after his tour.

One of the lessons I learned from shooting a .50BMG is while in the prone, on dry ground, from a bi-pod, Close your mouth, or you'll eat a crapload of dirt. MMMMmmm Dirt.

Dubi, that looked like me at the range yesterday trying to shoot my reloads in my AR, sans the recoil.

Can't let my wife see that, then I will never get another gun until she gets her 50.

Yeah.....that was a lot of fun....and I am exploring a can for that rifle now.

it is not mines I can tell you this much but it's in my safe for now.

I always love watching people shoot the Barretts (and shooting those myself). Pretty interesting rifle that deals out more punishment to it's suroundings than it does to the shooter.
