Well peta and I went scouting for a different spot for the camp'n'shoot today. Didn't quite get where we were wanting to go.

The view

That fog you see off to the left is Sutherlin...where we drove east through to get up here.

Closer view of the fog in the valley and our 2000 feet of elevation

The road that wasn't plowed...about 400 yards up and to the left is the pit peta was trying to get at.

After several attempts the snow would not let us go any further...bout 2 feet of snow.

Never seen peta's truck been shut down like this before. And we hadn't even dug through to the ground yet even with all the tire spinning that was going on. Not mention when we would get out of the truck the snow held up my fat ass.

Hey peta, wtahca doin' over there?

Peta,
Don't worry, some day you'll get a big boy truck

I think it is OK. It towed my big assed Chevy home without breaking a sweat.

Yeah it also towed OrArfan's little boy truck out of a snowy grave two years ago.

Either writing his initials in the snow or marking his territory. In the true arfcom way, he probably did both.

Hmmmmm.  Getting stuck after 30 ft, in what looks like < 6", I can't say I blame him.

Less than 6"????  how'd you get that from the camera angle? I figured my hands had most of it hid?

Neat project - you may have problems importing a PLA flamethrower, but if it's in the US already, not much can stop you.  BATFE doesn't regulate flamethrowers, and most states (except California) don't either.

Here in Oregon, you could probably claim the thing was an agricultural implement.  i.e., used for burning stumps and underbrush.

Or if you are REALLY bored, there's always THIS
