Yep! Like to other guys have said...... welcome to the forum. As the link above shows..... were planning a shoot in September which will be held just East of Estacada up at a gravel pit we go to. If your a safe and responsible shooter come on out and join us. We do get a bit roudy at times. Watch the post as to upcoming details and info..... Hey guys, My name is Kirt I am in Cornelius, thats west of Portland for those who don't know. I work in Beaverton, have for almost 8 years. I just finished building my first AR, not sure why it took so long to finally get into ARs. I have been shooting on and off since I was around 9. 33 now..... Just getting back into shooting since I built the AR. I hunted when I was in my early 20s but have not since. I'd love to go to some organized shooting events and some unorganized ones too.... I'll look for the details/info for the upcoming shoot. Thanks. |

Kirk, Hi, and welcome. I'm one of the low profile members on this forum. I'm going out to Brown's Camp today around 11:00 this morning if you'd like to go, let me know. I have a few AR's and love to shoot. Especially with .22 conversion kits installed. I generally try and go on weekdays when it's less crowded and fewer "gang banger/hold my beer and watch this" types out shooting. draver=Dale Raver |

| Unfortunately I haven't met with any of the HTF folks for a shoot, probably due to the fact I work in Bvtn and live 20 miles East of Sandy. Doesn't seem like there's much time anymore. I usually head up Lolo pass and crank off a few up there. It's only 15 minutes from the house which is nice. |
Hey Draver, Thanks for the invite, sorry I missed out on that. I was up all last night with my telescope so by 7:00am I was ready to crash. I went up that direction at 4:00pm and did some shooting down storey burn, descent spot for pistol but 50 yards is about all I got with the AR. I have mountain biked around browns camp before but not sure where the shooting spot is. When you going next? I am normally available Thursdays-Saturday. I agree, Week days are good because there are less people. I am trying to get a friend from work to go out next week, not sure if he is really serious yet or not. But either way I am game. M-60, Thanks for the video and picture links. Looks like loads of fun. I'll likely be joining in on the fun in September, is there a date yet? Later, Kirt |

I'll be going again next week. Not sure which day(s), but when the weather is decent I'm there 1-3 times a week. I'm still having a little trouble with my belt fed .22 upper, so I need to shoot/experiment/fart around with it some more. Basically, any excuse to shoot works for me. Send me an email with a way to contact you, and maybe we can simonize a trip out there. |
