Anybody interested in getting together for some training/practicesessions?

We're starting to get several people here who have had some formal training and it would be good to get together to reinforce skills and be exposed to ideas from other schools. We can pool resources like target stands and props also.

Maybe pick a couple of days a month and a place to meet, see who shows up.

I know there is PR, but not all of us are able to make it, and this would be an opportunity to practice for it also.

thats a pretty cool idea.  I know that i am kind of a hack, and it would really help me out some.  I really need to improve on my pistolmanship.  i'd be down, depending what days your thinking.

I'd be interested in something like that depending on the circumstances.

I have thought of having a bar-b-que and speed steel/ airsoft day at my house. I don't know if the cats would enjoy it though.

I'm up for some informal training stuff.

I currently have weekday flexibilty, am available to lead/co-lead training, and have TCGC membership (can bring up to five "guests"). My weekends are still busy with matches through late October. Feel free to contact me if weekdays are of interest.

I'd be up for it.  I also have TCGC membership but I'd like to go somewhere we can shoot out ARs "tactically".  I can bring some target stands and share some knowledge.

Great idea, I'm totally up for it.  We can practice some very key (but often overlooked) stuff such as mag manipulations, malfunction clearanes, firing positions, firing under time pressure (I have a timer) and some other good stuff right on the regular 50/100 yd range at TCGC.

We can do the same with handguns at the tatical bays if you have IPSC certification.

PR is great but it isn't the time to be practicing, it's the time to be putting into effect what you know.

Fridays-Sundays work best for me.

I was thinking of meeting at a gravel pit somewhere. We could then work on movement, multiple targets, things like that. We could also pool equipment, things like moveable barricades/drums, target stands and other "props".

I'm trying to make Wed my current day for TCGC. I am usually there about 1-2PM due to my lovely work schedule if someone wants to get together there.

Sounds interesting. Well need things like target stands and the like. Not to mention a out of the way place.
