Added the pics and now I wanted to add a few things I wanted to say too. Hartman, I was most impressed with your 308 and how efficient you changed your mags out, way to go man! To the FIL, You rock with the open sights, most impressive! 12th place and top open sights for the match, with that long range thrown in was just flat out awesome! 45Glockman, was great to finally meet you, hope you can make the next one! Cape, you make a great RO and Gackman does as well. No BS, no screwin around. I fealt it went very smooth and fast for such a large group. Most impressive and also the amount of help with taping and resetting targets by all of the squad. Robert, you rock. Solid, methodical, precise and accurate. Smooth is fast man, you prove it! And last but not least, to Randy for hosting and setting up such an awesome match. I very much enjoyed the spread of ranges on this one. From what had to be 18 yards on Stage 1 to the 230yd targets on Stage 2 it was a great challange! Sorry to all the folks I didn't get pics of, thought I had more. Remind me on the April shoot not to BS so much and take a few more! |
Thanks bud. Me too! |
I have to add - he was shooting great! 16" no frills AR with iron sights smoking people. I was joking on stage 2, where we started, that his solid fundimentals with a plain jane AR were better than all the toys and shit some of us have on our rifles... but he proved that I wasn't just joking. |
They're up now, with Mr. GasBuster in the lead... |
Thanks for the pics & comments Peta. That was my second time out and I gotta say PR is one of the best dang matches at the nicest gun club with the funnest squad of shooters I've been around.
Yeah I was going to appoint myself winner of the ".308 iron sight division" but at #50 overall, decided against it...
