Eeks....I can't believe I'm even considering it, but I've had a pretty damn lucritive trade offer thrown my direction for that godforsaken Beretta I packed all the way up to Portland for the show.
What do you guys think? Any experiences with it? Am I gonna get stuck with another odd duck trying to sell it? Thanks

Had a model 20… sold it and will have another soon. Full power 10mm loads can be a handful, the Glock 29 can be down right brutal. If it’s something you "must have" I’d say go for it, but to me, it’s not something to pick up just to go plinking with. |

It's just for the resale, I'd be getting 2 guns for my damnhardtosellPOS Beretta and one I would keep. I'm not a Glock Fan but didn't know if I would be getting myself into another gun that I would be stuck with. Never had any experience with that 10mm round. |

You could always just get a 9mm barrel for the Beretta and thread it for a can.

Umm.....NO. Defeats the purpose, half of my M1A fund or a good portion of it is tied up in that god forsaken piece of crap that nobody seems to want! Besides, I bought my wife a glock, isn't that enough!??

I like the short ones too.
I’m going to (someday) send one of mine to Smith Enterprise and have em make an EBR out of it. Just using the old synthetic stock though, I don’t really like those new chop-mod stocks or whatever they are.   |

I'd make the trade. I believe there's more of a market for the Glock than there is for that Beretta. YMMV.

IIRC Smith is supposed to build them with a medium heavy barrel. I’ve got an M14 with a Douglass medium heavy barrel and was thinking of just sending it down to them to have it bobbed, add the sight and flash hider and off I go.
I don’t really care too much for the whole heavy barrel thing though and I’ve got an SAK barrel that is already cut down to the proper length that I might use instead. Don’t know what to do. |

I'll bet you don't lose. You are a two income household...but I do the taxes tonight after the mail gets here and we'll see if I can get the M1A or not. And no I don't SIP beer, I chug it while hodling it with a clinched fist just so you don't take my beer from me. I only hold my pinky in the air while I am in Portland and have my uber ghey hal caff-decaf no foam cinnaomon flavored latte with a scone while wearing my birkenstocks and my hemp made pants wearing no deodarant and voting for higher taxes while sitting in a satrbucks reading the liberal rag Wilamette Week. |

Well no M1A through taxes for me. Just finished them and I owe the feds 225 but get 120 for Oreygun....Go figure. Guess I'll have to get the M1A the old fashioned way...........SAVE. |
