The wife and I are in St Simons for a few more days. What are some things you would recommend we do? We have a rental car so we can travel.

Looks like I am the first to chime in so I'll tackle the 800 lb gorilla as it pertains to BBQ - if you have not made it there yet I recommend visiting Southern Soul BBQ. They are an institution on St Simons and do make some great ribs soaked in honey (meat candy), pulled pork, and Brunswick stew.

Drive up to Darien and go to B&J's seafood.

I think the Market in the pier village on Jekyll blows B&J's away ... their $10.99 shrimp basket is awesome.

I was at the marsh grill on hwy 25 last week,  very good place
