Going to a football game tomorrow with the Boy Scouts. Do I need to empty my pockets before going? Pocket knives off limits too?

I've never had to empty my pockets including last week's game. They normally just check bags. Last week I walked in with a kubaton key chain and about a 3" knife.

No problems with my kershaw 3" clip on pocket knife. No one even looked at my waist / pocket area and concealed carry would have been possible, though illegal.
