| I am wanting to drive over and check out their store but wanted to get a good idea of how much they stock at the location. Is it worth driving 1.5 hours to checkout? |

I drive roughly one hour with no traffic to go there.
Do yourself a favor hit the rest of the fun stores while you up there. Going gear Adventure outdoors Truprep Big woods good Hicaliber Cherokee gun and pawn. Then take hwy20 across and hit Dawsonville gun Forsyth pawn |

Do you mean "Tru-Prep"? I know one of the owners of Tru-Prep, he's never said anything about owning the Discount Army-Navy store, in fact, he's said they specifically don't carry some items to avoid competing with them because they're so close together. He DOES own a computer business in addition to Tru-Prep, which is why he's seldom at the store. He's also a member here... |

If you're going to be that close to Tru Prep, there's another prep store a few miles north near Towne Center mall called the Preppers Vault. Both stores have good staff willing to chat so maybe that'll enhance your visit. It helps to know online pricing on things because I find it does vary widely between the two stores.
