| Anyone been? Thinking bout going this month. What to do? If we go it will in Quebec entering from NH. |
| I've been once, and it wasn't for very long or to Quebec. I went to visit a buddy in Toronto. loved it up there, the people were friendly and the city was clean. It's fun listening to Canadins talk about "unbearable heat". Almost forgot the beer is pretty good too. |

.
Out of all the places in Canada to go, for me Quebec isn't it. Do you speak french? Can you pretend not to be an American much less a Southerner? Toronto and everything to the west is the best part of Canada IMHO (other then Niagara Falls to the southeast). Went to Ericsson School up there. Ericsson gave us Skybox Seats to see the Blue Jays. People are friendly and great to meet. Went to Quebec (I speak french) and they were nothing but jerks! Just my 2 cents, YMMV |
| Well here's an idea. Go up to St. John and catch a ferry to Nova Scotia and go to Halifax. Very nice this time of year. Great boardwalk area, lots of bars and restaurants. Big college town (I think there's 5 there) so lots of young people (not that I care, being an old fart, but it does bring in the bands and the booze). And there's lobster everywhere. |

Quoted: Will make my first visit within the next month or two, flying into Vancouver then a cruise to Alaska. |

Quoted: If you are in Montreal, take the time to go to Schwartz's deli and have their smoked meat, or Montreal's version of pastrami. It is freakin' awesome. Also order a steak or mixed grill. Myself and a few friends went there and it was really good. Really good, and fun with those zany old dudes that work there. Watch out for panhandlers in the great white north. Take off, eh? bowling loaded twist-off tops long underwear and back bacon |
