The first annual GA HTF Spring Shoot will be held March 13, 14, and 15. Sorry no poll; this is the date that worked out best for your hosts. They are myself, Vote From Rooftops, and Glockfan68 (aka The Augusta Crew). Range length will be 175 yds. No restrictions. (As long as we don't set off alarms at Plant Vogtle 25 miles away).  There will be plenty of parking and areas for primitive camping. There is water and electricity on site. Sorry no campers (not that much room). Parking is only 25 yds from the firing line and you will be able to drive up to firing line to unload. Vote will be barbequing on Sat. and a campfire grill will be available Fri night to grill what you bring for yourself. More details to follow as they become available. Feel free to post any questions, comments, or concerns you may have. I'm getting this out asap so y'all can schedule accordingly. Location is Munnerlyn GA ( between Waynesboro and Millen).

We are going to start accepting paypal donations to cover food and drinks at the event. When votefromrooftops cooks, it is NOT half assed and well worth the donation. At this point, I am not setting an amount to donate. Do what you can. The meat and apple wood will be costly but worth it! PayPal donations (no gun words) should go to [email protected] and I'll see that every penny is put into paying for the food and drinks and Dan's expenses are covered for putting the grub together. If you donate, send me an IM and let me know how much you donated. I'll keep up with it all. Put me down as maybe.
My off days are Thursdays and Fridays right now. Not sure what they will be at the time of the shoot. I'll be a solid yes/no by a month out. I've got a portable outdoor water heater that runs off propane I'll bring for showing if there's no facilities. If I can't make it, y'all are welcome to it. |

Since there will be a large firing line and plenty of room for most folks, we can leave it wide open until redgoat thinks we need to cap it. |

No facilities but there is a well and electricity in the old house on sight. House is not habitable. Only reason it has power is the well behind it supplies my aunt and uncles house up the hill. I'm not going to be able to make it fellas. I've got way to much going on right now.
Do y'all want to borrow a portable propane hot water heater/shower for the camp? It uses a standard size grill bottle and runs off a garden hose spigot. If one of the Middle GA guys don't mind carrying it up and bringing it back y'all are welcome to it. Just let me know. |
