If I see one more shoulder rig out in public somebody is getting pistol whipped !
That is all... |
|
Furthermore... Open carry is fine by me maybe they will target you first. But I am sick and tire of open carries and the carless ways that they carry. Springfield full size xd45 in a bulldo nylon holster with the mag carrier attached to it :(
Or the holster that is on a cheap dollar fo leather Walmart belt so you bersa 380 can flop about while you walk. Or the guy with the fobus with a limber riding on it no retention and not paying any attention to his surroundings. I want to snach one out of a founds while they are off the game just to prove how easy it is... Thanks rant over for now... |

I rarely see any shoulder rigs but still see lots of cheap nylon holsters and Fobus.
Here's why you don't use a Fobus outside of the range. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oDeKtgkZKmQ |

Quoted: This guy's BHP was in a nylon shoulder rig literally hanging out. The only thing keeping it from falling on the ground was a small bit of the hammer caught by the strap. Yes, his other sidearm was also in a cheapie nylon rig. http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u318/chadjetlag/6E7DDECB-DC13-4B22-A85A-CF994CA3775D-7907-000013A782D478F8_zps93484593.jpg Is that a CCW Badge on his belt too? I can't think of one dept, in my experience, that issues or allows nylon holsters. |

That video came out before they added the metal strip on the backside of the paddle so the attachment rivets actually had something to engage. While they're not what I would consider a "quality" holster, they're much harder to break now...and have been for quite a while. |

It did not end up bad late for anybody except the guy that you originally had the gun. |

All it took would be somebody that also carried a keltec to ruin his day forever. Not worth it. |

Reminded me of Billy Bob Thornton's role in Tombstone. Acted all alpha and tough but you could literally see he was scared shitless. |

It did not end up bad late for anybody except the guy that you originally had the gun. Let me see, where to start: Oh yeah, "Stupid is as Stupid does", "Even a blind squirrel finds a nut now and again", "Sometimes its better to be plain lucky then plain smart if you are STUPID enough to try a dumb stunt like that!" Besides the fact that they might have had something go totally wrong, how stupid and uncaring can it be not to think about all the things that could go wrong like causing an unnecessary chain reaction that gets another person not even involved shot. Like maybe a 5 year old getting accidentally shot over a stupid stunt like that? One has no idea ahead of time how somebody carries IE Condition 4 or Condition Zero. Do they have an 8 pound trigger pull or an RCH trigger pull on their pistol? It is much safer for everybody to politely have a conversation with the individual about why it might not be a good idea to OC and especially with the type holster they are using then to do something stupid that could possibly get somebody KILLED! The last time I saw this, I pointed the guy to the story of the guy standing on the street corner with his brand new first pistol and some thug came up with his pistol already out of his waistband to relieve the OC idiot of his brand new pistol. Does the guy I spoke with still OC, I don't know, but nobody was going to get shot by me pointing out that what he was doing wasn't the smartest thing to do and with a story pointing to why its not a good idea. |

WOW y'all took that one hook line and sinker... I would not actually do that because then I would have went full retard.
I am just simply saying if you could show them how easy it is to take maybe they would buy a good level 2 for of and pay attention to their surroundings..., And yes yalmart is he best place to encounter a expensive pistol in a five dollar holster. |

I havent seen an OCer in at least a year.... Come on over to Douglasville, Villa Rica, or Carrollton Wal-Mart. Plenty of amusing sites in every department. Even at Lowes in Douglasville; I saw a guy there last week OC'ing a G19, heard him tell several people that they didn't need to worry, he was licensed to carry and they were safer with him around. He was telling them this while he patted his pistol. |

Saw a knucklehead walk into the Walgreens OCing a cocked and locked .45 in a cheapo nylon belt clip holster. It was clipped to the pocket of his jeans, flopping around with every step.
I was in uniform and saw him and his weapon long before he saw me. Thought he was gonna shit. I just laughed to myself and ignored him. I thought to myself, why does every OCer i see wear their weapon in the cheapest shitty holster, While guys I know who carry concealed everywhere use some of the most expensive holsters made? |

That shit really frosts my ass... When you see the el cheapo clip on style that's clipped to a pocket and not the belt. One he would be the easiest person to steal a weapon off of. Two he will never get that gun out fast enough to use it. Three you make all of us gun owners look like hill billy tards... |

Then we won't have to worry about you too...
