I watch Doomsday Preppers the other day so I know how to make body armor from floor tiles and roofing tar.  Therefore, I can just go take my neighbor's milk and bread and not have to worry about getting shot.

I am really freaked out right now. We gassed up the generators, boarded up the windows, loaded up the p-mags, laid out the yeti traps and stocked up the whiskey cabinet. Sure hope I didn't forget anything.

-gasp- snow. I love how people run to the store for milk, bread and eggs at the first sign of foul weather JUST in case you get a sudden urge for French toast. Makes total sense

Actually it does.  School gets called for some light dusting.  Any good mother (or father for that matter) would cook her little ones a full breakfast instead of the hurried school day rush.  Saturday morning in the middle of the week.

Went to visit my mom in the hospital this past weekend in Cleveland. Was 15 degrees...without the windchill. I can still remember being on the school bus as a kid and having it slide down the road sideways. The transportation superintendent for the school system was an old Marine. He would compare our school weather with the Chosin Reservoir...school didn't get cancelled very much lol
