I am looking for a inexpensive red dot and was wanting opinions of both the Vortex Sparc/Strikefire and the Primary Arms Micro/M3

I vote vortex all the way. I've had 2 primary arms red dots that have either failed or had issues from the first time using them to years after and the best thing primary arms can do is a discount if you buy another. vortex is of higher quality.

I like my PA M3 but that's the only dot I have experience with.

I like the PA micro dot. It hold up to 7.69x39 just fine, so I would imagine it would hold up to a .22(3) just fine

The AK guys like them because they go great on the Ultimak rail system, I rarely hear of any problems with them (PA) of in the AK forums.

The Bushnell TRS 25 is also a good option.

Ive got a Vortex SF, PA Micro, and Bushnell TRS-25, on my plinkers. Never had an issue with either.

Never used Vortex, but I have used the PA micro for a while now on my AR. I love it.

I have the PA red dot on an AR and have had a very good luck with it.

Battery life has been phenomenal. And so far it has held zero after maybe 5000 rounds. No problems yet. Had it over a year.

Also a great addition is their weapons light. I think they are still under $100 and mine is awesome.

I have a PA microdot and so far its great, but I do plan on moving it to my AR22 and getting a T1 for my SBR 5.56

I have a vortex sparc on my dedicated 22 SBR upper. I love it. Absolutely perfect for the application. Also have a QD riser on it. Magpul BUIS. It is dirty.
