Quoted: First Mom on 4/25. Now Dad today. Seems he has been hiding some heart issues from us all - which we found out about Monday. Wanted to outlast mom since she was so sick and could not take care of herself. Would have been 67 years in September. Semper Fi Devil Dog. USMC 3rd. Marines My condolences, I lost my father last year, I'm still trying to settle his estate (selling a house in another state sucks). |

Quoted: Dad has everything in a trust. We probably will give my sister the house since she watched over them for 20 years. I would. Only selling the house because neither my brother or I is in a position to use it or manage it, he's overseas with the Army, I'm in another state, so once I can sell it, whatever's left over from paying off the mortgage goes into an account and gets split 50/50 after any other debts are resolved. |

| We have been looking for a place to put them. Went to a bunch of cemeteries here in Rockford. Last one was called Arlington. Non-profit. Managed by an older Marine.. Found them a place under an old oak tree next to some people the caretaker knew and near some other guys from various services. They go in tomorrow with a USMC flag ceremony after Mass. (No more buglers and they are not allowed to fire the rifles anymore). It should be nice for them. |
| My condolences. I lost my Dad last year. Take some solace in the fact that they are watching over you. I often "feel" my Dad's presence whenever I do something we enjoyed together (like hunting) and hear his voice when I need help with something I would have asked him about. |
