| Hey, I want to sell some parts at the next gun show. I have a stripped lower receiver to sell. I want to maximize profit. Should I sell as complete or stripped? I haven't been in a long time and I plan to just hang in the parking lot. The last time I attended this show they were asking retail prices for used guns and that was while Bush was in office. I would hate to see what they are charging for rifles now. I'd appreciate any advice. |

Do you have all the parts to make it complete? If so that would probably get you a little more money as parts kits are still hard to find in stock.
You missed the boat on profit maximization. If you had sold 5 months ago you may have been able to get $300-$400 for the stripped lower itself. Now, however, you'll be lucky to get $100 - $200, depending on the manufacturer. |

Yeah in March I sold a LPK for double what I paid and I told the guy he was crazy. Then I sold three S&W handgun mags for 3X what they were worth. I haven't been shopping locally much lately cause I hate overpaying. I could go out and see how everyone's stock is looking to gauge local demand. Is $400 too much for a complete Rock River lower? Stock and all. |

If you have magpul or Vltor furniture and an upgraded trigger then you may be able to get in the $400 range. That's just my opinion though. It's worth what someone is willing to pay for it. |
