We were up at our land in Ellijay when it started. At first it was just a few tiny flakes (was working on the 10/22 with my youngest). 
It really started to come down as we were packing up to leave. 
By the time we started out, there was a light blanket everywhere. 
And once we got out on the road, there was an inch of coverage. 
We had to stop once on the way home where a truck with a flat bottom boat lost the boat off the side of the road. Not sure if it slid off or he jack knifed coming down a hill, but it really wasn't very slick and once we got down past Amicalola it was just wet. On a side note, I stopped in DG on the way out and looked at a Shield. He said they had 5 in the back. On the way home I decided to stop and get one and they were all gone.

Thanks for sharing the pics. And in todays climate if you think you want it buy it...cause you'll be able to sell it for more should you decide you don't like.

Yep, that's what I thought as I drove away the first time. I should have turned around and gone back and bought it, but I had the kids with me and everyone was itching to get somewhere they could get out.
