I bought a Glock 30S today from DGP, 20 min after SPD informed me that they were not released for sale to the public yet.

| I took it straight to the range and put 50 through it. It's very nice. At the range we compared the 30s to the 30 and the weight difference was very apparent. The 30 seems extremely top heavy when compared to the 30s unloaded. No issues at all. It might be my favorite of the Glocks right now. I have a couple of 26's, 19, 23. It's my first .45. The size and weight of the gun is perfect for my taste. |

$509+ tax
They had 4 on Friday. Another customer bought the last one while I was there. That store is basically sold out of everything but 3 AAC 300 blk uppers. Plenty of scopes, a few Glocks left. Other than that, I hope you like hunting guns and shotguns. The sign on the door said not to even ask about ar15's. lol. |

I just picked up the 2013 copy of Glock Autopistols. First I've heard of the G30S ( the S is for Slim). New model for this year. Basically, Glock took parts from G36 (.45 acp single stack) and took parts from the G30SF ( .45 acp SF is for Short Frame) and put them together to make the G30S. Article also says"The G21 magazine will fit in the G30S".

Another example of current Glock perfection...no new products but re-combinations of what you already have. I made one myself from my G30 and G36 a few years ago. Not sure if my sarcasm meter is broken...but I'm pretty sure everyone wants a single stack 9. That blow to the head really did a number on ol' Gaston. |

I think that Clark Howard would classify Glock as a dinosaur ... so big and slow moving that the innovators (of which they were one a long time ago) easily run around them. |

I talked to someone who knows Gaston. Glock runs everything through the lawyers first and won't do anything that increases his liability. He has plenty of money so he does not need to make any more.
I remember when I was a kid the swiss watches were the best in the world. They did not keep up with the times or changing technology and now the LCD watches have taken over the market share. Look out Glock |
