slashsplat hooked me up with most epic of avatars!!! thanks man! |
|
I love doing it. Have done about 600 over the years. Been busy in '12 so I hadn't done many. I try to work on my Georgia people primarily. If I could make a living doing it, I would. Most relaxing thing I have ever done, other than shooting... |
|
I got one from him just the other day - thanks slashsplat!!
Now if I could just get past the animation difficulties - sometimes it animates and sometimes it doesn't. I've not modified the file; my difficulties appear to be tied to the upload process, though it seems like a simple enough thing to do. I've uploaded it three times now... hopefully the 3rd time's the charm! -bob |

Slashsplat, your work is great. If you get a spare moment and want to make one for me, you can come up with something for my username. It doesn't have to include my avatar at all.
I am in computer security for my job and do ethical hacking and wireless encryption. I love guns, and collect AR-15s and Glocks. Let me know if there is anything I can do for you as well. Thanks! |

Ethical Hacking is getting paid to break into companies at their request to test their network defenses. Then I write up reports on my findings and tell them how to remediate. I am on the good side and help find holes before hackers too.
Kind of like a locksmith helps protect against thieves. Quoted:
....ethical hacking ...
now there is a term I have never heard of before |

I could not resist that damned silly pic... Not sure what the reaction would be.

Thank You Slashplat!! It looks great! I really appreciate it.

| People ask me why I do them, or why did I pick them to do, and the reason is that everyone should have a graphic identity. So I try to always incorporate the user name in the avatar. For me, it really helps identify the posts instantly without having to read the name. I focus on HTF Georgia 'cause that's where we are. |

Scuba Scott. Do you have an short barreled automatic high capacity spear gun? With a red dot? I wonder if that would be regulated in some way.... How'd you know?!?! Sure is! A 11 1/2" SBS (short barrel speargun) with 36-spear magazines, 72-bands and select fire for when you're going after schools of fish at once and need full auto.. And yes, they are regulated. Gotta buy a Sushi-Stamp from Sheriff Sponge-Bob and his gang to be legal... |

Yes, I'm not that computer literate... ![]() Hit <Shift><F5> to refresh your browser. It is cached in your PC. That worked. Thanks again! |
