When I got home last night I had no internet connection.  All the lights on the modem were lit with the exception of the internet light.  I poked around the computer and somehow set up a broadband connection, but the internet light is still not on and the network I normally use is not working.  Here is a screenshot of my networks.  Network 5 is my normal connection.  Any suggestions?  I'm hoping to find a solution before I have to resort to calling AT&T.

I've unplugged the power and phone line to the modem and I've restarted the computer.  What specifically should I do?

there should be a light on on your modem/router/whatever that indicates whether or not you have internet connectivity. if that light is off and you have power-cycled it, and you have phone service on the same line and that works, call ATT and report the outage. be firm, tell them you have rebooted the modem, checked all the connections and still it doesnt work. also if they ask you to reboot your pc, be firm and tell them you have done that already. that is always part of the song and dance.

btw, i would plug a phone into the exact same line as your connection from the dmarc to the actual device works. i have seen this fail and had to rerun a new inside the house line myself. you dont want to have someone come out and charge you if this is the only problem.
