Also, what I was really trying to do is state something like, "Wow, first post here and you are pimping for your business. I hope that isn't the only reason you are on this site."
But I didn't want to come off as a jerk to our newest member.

Please don't take offense to any comments made here. Most everyone is really just joking around. We're like that. A little thicker skin wouldn't hurt you. But when I saw your first post I knew people would comment about it. We've seen that a LOT on this site over the years where guys come on just to advertise and not otherwise contribute to the community. Advertising is pretty strictly forbidden on this site. So, as a first post pimping your services wasn't exactly the best topic. So, enjoy your stay. We're glad to have you join us. Lots of great guys on here.

Over 1,000 yrds is pushing it for me. I dont have much access to that distance but it sounds like fun. Where in Georgia do you normally get to shoot that distance? I am having trouble finding ranges that long. Nice to meet you, maybe i will see you around? |

I know most of you on here don't know me as Troper when when I am shooting beside you at creekside or spending $$$ in your local shop. But I am here.
I can vouch for BobbyD first off he is my cousin, my shooting partner and If you do realize who I am by me coming in your LOCAL shop then you must realize that the guy shooting beside me is likely a serious gun guy and spends money in the Local shops. Bd doesnt spend all his time online like us and anytime he asks me a ? that I dont have the answer for I tell him to creat an account and get on here. Well he never does then a week later he asks me another question I dont have the answer for and we go thru it again. I take full responsibilaty for the missenterpretation of his first post. Yesterday at the family cookout / leadfest I convinced him to get on and he said what do I do to intro myself and let people know I am here. I said there are always guys in htf asking hvac questions or needing hvac help find the thread to post that u offer a service. I know most of you guys are just knocking balls but damn do yoj not think some of that shit was a little harsh for a new member that everyone on here knows didnt know his way around. Yes I get it It could easily look like ge was just pimping his business. But like everything else in our republic other than health insurance If you have a problem with it or dont want it dont buy it. Thats the Rule I live by. |
