| It just kills me to see that no matter where you go or what you do there will always be someone to SHIT on what you do. Some may know what I'm talking about and some may not. It just goes to show that there's always going to be one that calls their self "warning" you about whatever feels right to them. Do everyone a favor and if it doesn't have anything to do with you don't worry about it. Sorry if I sound disrespectful to a former service member. It just pisses me off to no end for someone to have input on something that they weren't asked about or involved in. If I even thought I were breaking any laws I wouldn't have helped others out. |

Some people need to listen to the father of the constitution But it does me no injury for my neighbor to say there are twenty gods or no God. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg.
-Thomas Jefferson Yeah, but to better my KARMA... who/whom('s) legs does the OP need me to break?

I believe he is pissy about what 1b375 posted in the thread about ammonium nitrate. |

Hey, I'm a veteran, cop, shooter, trainer whatever. I've met assholes everywhere. The quickest way to get on my bad side is to do something assholish then play the .mil card. Not commenting on this instance specifically because I don't know what was said but when that happens its douchebaggery at its finest. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Let's get this story straight.
1. No one played a mil. card by any means 2. Yes I posted it wasn't smart to have a picture of a pallet of ammonium nitrate on the Internet. 3. Yes I called Cherokee gun and told them about the posting. 4. A FEDERAL AGENT called me and asked if I knew Cherokee and I told them that they were ok and nothing to worry about. 5. You guys brought undue attention to a friends business because of a silly posting on the Internet. 6. If you consider me looking out for a friend bad then so be it. 7. If you have a problem with what was done then be a man and drive to Taylorsville to resolve it instead of whining on the Internet. |

I thought the thread was shady as well. It didn't give any context, just a pic of a pallet of AN. I forget the text and/or subject but it got my attention. I knew because I remembered the group buy thread but I can see how it could be misconstrued.
AN has many negative connotations and only a couple of legitamate uses. Anytime you are posting about buying it in bulk on a public forum I think it's sensible to explain that it's for exploding targets. |

Anytime you are posting about buying it in bulk on a public forum I think it's sensible to explain that it's for exploding targets. I understand your sentiment and agree. Anecdotal true story... A friend of mine went through a sort of nasty divorce a couple years ago. The wife was playing the "scorned woman" card to the full extent including calling the FBI on her soon to be EX and stating that he was involved in paramilitary training that included blowing up vehicles. She further stated he had an "arsenal" of firearms including autos and suppressors plus enough tactical gear to outfit a couple SEAL teams. An FBI friend of mine happened to see the case file and recognized the name as one of my friends. So, he contacted me. Long story short, I ended up having an FBI special agent come ask me questions about my friend. The information they had from website postings alone was shocking and when viewed from a different perspective could have looked pretty darn bad. Tis is a friend of mine. I know him and know he doesn't mean anyone any harm or even ill feelings. Joe is also a friend and I very well understand the point he was making. In fact, Joe was trying to help; he wasn't trying to be a jerk at all. So, let's all chill a bit. I am going to lock this thread just because I can't see any benefit from having it hang around. Best regards to all of you. Play hard, play legal and play carefully. Mark |
