I have taken over my wife's 2003 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer (its nice!!!), as her company is buying her a new car (a very nice 2013 Escape, YAY!).

Anyways, the driver side rear window doesn't work.  Its as if it isn't even connected.  Also, sometimes when all of the doors are fully closed, and you double lock the doors on the key fob for the beep, it double beeps as if the doors aren't securred.

Can you give me some idea on where to start with trouble shooting these issues?

Pics at a later date when I get my BFL and MOLON LABE on the thing!  Yay!  Now to sell my Ranger!

the rear window will be very simple, open the door, hold down the window switch in the down position and knock the hell out of the door panel in the middle of the door a couple of times. this should get the window motor going again, there is a TSB on that issue.

on the FOB, pressing lock once should lock the drivers door, pressing lock twice should lock all the doors and arm the vehicle. if you have a door lock acuator going out or a wiring issue in the drivers door jam harness between the door and the body of the vehicle, that may be going on. really need to put our IDS(laptop) on it and see what's up, very hard to diag over the net or phone, u hope that helps
