Does anyone know how to get in contact with them? I have one of their lowers and want to get a matching C3 upper.

Thanks

From what I heard, they just had a judgement against them in court and are going out of business. This is good. I always hated Buzz and his clowns. If you really wanna get ahold of them, try going through Head Down Products. One of the owners (Dave) used to work for Buzz. I don't like dealing with Head Down either. Good luck.

A LOT of it. He is a huge @SS-hole too. I know the whole scoop and considered making a thread on HD and C3.

FYI:

Dave at Head Down Products is making his rifles out of bastard parts and is using the cheapest barrels he can find. He doesnt check headspacing or test fire the rifles. Doesnt even torque the barrel nut to specs. Better off buying from a reputable manufacturer/builder. I recommend not dealing with him or Buzz.

I would sell the lower and get a forged upper/lower from someone else.

Wonderful.  I have one of their lowers and the helical spring they'd installed for the pistol grip screw was too tight and when I tried unscrewing it, it pulled the insert out.  I'd asked on their sight about whether I could get it repaired and never had a response, guess it's probably a paperweight now...

When I was at a recent Eastman show back in may I walked up to a table from Beaver Creek Tactical that had C3 Defense lowers.   I struck up a conversation about a problem I was having with my C3 lower not dropping PMags freely and the guy behind the table said to bring it and they would check it out and if it was a problem with the lower they would make it right.  I don't remember all the details but I think he said something about them taking over for C3 defense front end selling or partnering with them or something, just don't recall all the details but Beaver Creek Tactical is located in Dallas, GA also.   Any way it turns out the problem was with the some of the PMags I had being out of spec and not the lower.  You could try to call Craig@ 404-787-4216 with Beaver creek tactical.  Maybe they have some of the uppers or point you to some one who does.

Your in no position to tell me to "go easy." This is a forum for discussion and my responses were appropriate, wether you agree or not. There was no profanity or threats. Guys, chill out a bit. I know a great deal about all of his business ventures, including those that cost me money personally, as well as a tidy sum of his personal life's story. While I'd advise people not to do business with anything even remotely related to C3, I think we should all take the higher road and keep personal bias out of this. The OP asked a simple question. We've had this conversation about buzz a hundred times. No need to to go kicking a dead mule. Let alone a rotten corpse of one.

To the OP: you will have better luck buying a standard a3 upper from any of our numerous arfcom sponsors. I recommend BCM or Delton. But that is purely do to price. If you want a C3 upper just because, I know the machinists who is stuck with several hundred of them who would be happy to sell one or two. But they are stripped. IM and I'll ask him for price.

I appreciate everyone who has reached out to assist me with contact information. I did not intend for this tread to turn into a Buzz bashing.

If you had a bad experience in dealing with C3 Defense, or Buzz, shoot me a PM instead of attempting to slander someone on an open forum. Your personal dealings and experience are just that, yours. Although I do not know Buzz, I have a friend who does and has always said good things about him. As Bookhound said, there are at least two sides to every story.

In the gun business it is almost impossible to turn a decent profit year after year.  It is pretty hard just to cover recurring costs. There have been some good years in the last decade. But we hopefully will not have someone in public office in the future  to drive gun sales.
The one line description of most gun related businesses is:
The best way to get a million dollars in the business is to start off with two million.
Also the best way to lose some good friends is to go into a gun business with them or have them invest in your business.

I will note that after posting this, Buzz has contacted me about repairing or replacing the lower and gave me his direct number, I will be contacting him next week as I'm currently on another continent enjoying beer without any additives and good sausages :-)  I'll also note that C3 Defense has sent someone to at least one of the HTF shoots and gave away a lower at that shoot, at the time I hadn't tried installing the lower I'm having the issue with (the other lower purchased at the same time I haven't had any issues with, and they were recommended to me by a dealer on this site), otherwise I would have talked to that person about it (and I can't find his card currently).

the barrel is a Daniel Defense isn't it it is a nice rifle the upper and lower have a very nice fit. when i was looking for a 11.5 barrel, i tried contacting HD, even left Jacks name in the message, honestly that doesn't matter they never returned the call, it all worked out with a Daniel Defense barrel. like every company, you will get mixed reviews. i have always heard that C3 had great products, but the owner was VERY hard to deal with, that comes from several guys that live in Dallas/Hiram. i've assembled on a C3 lower and it turned out fine, so who knows
