I bought one of those dedicated slide scanners and could never get it to work worth a crap.
Best I have is an old Microtek scanner that has an illuminator attachment for slide scanning, but it's a SCSI and none of my current computers have SCSI. Adding a SCSI adapter that operates off USB would cost as much as a new scanner. My Canon flatbed doesn't scan slides all that well, even with a reflector. Haven't tried it with the new all-in-one. I will say that when it does all come together, pics from slides can look really good. |
