So I got my new AR together but I can't lock the bolt back. The screw that goes through the stock into the attached buffer tube is to long and the buffer is hitting the screw. Other than cutting the screw (I know that there has to be a better solution) what can I do to get it to work?

Well I am a dumb ass and used the regular A2 screw....no wonder it was to long.

It's the magpul UBR. Uses a proprietary reliever extension and a carbine buffer and spring

Sorry, crashed early last night. When I get home I'll check out mine and see if I can see what's going on with yours.
