| I think it may be out of time. You can fire 2 rounds then it will jamb the hammer wont cock, cylinder wont rotate, cant pull the trigger and you cant open the cylinder. After you play with it for a minute it will free up until rotate the cylinder and fire another round. |

Here's the fix for that. Send it back to Taurus and get it fixed. Sell it to the first sucker willing to buy it when it comes back. Use the money you get plus some more and go buy a S&W Governor or whatever they call it. Problem permanently solved.
If I'm coming across as a smart ass I don't mean too. I've just seen several metric shit tons of Taurus product break and sometimes spontaneously disassemble themselves in an explosive manner. They are shit guns that do not hold up at all if you actually shoot them much. |

I owned a .17hmr Tracker for a short while back before I knew what crap Taurus was that would do the same thing. The firing pin was hitting the rim so hard it would deform the cases and jam the cylinder. I cut half a coil off the hammer spring which solved the problem but then the pistol would sometimes leave light hammer strikes in double action. I happily traded off the turd. |
