| So I ordered an external hard drive from amazon.com to copy all of my pictures onto so I could reformat my laptops hard drive . I've still got some kind of really bad Trojan on it. Well, the as advertised new in box hard drive I ordered turned out to be used and broken, and not exactly cheap! So now I am stuck copyingthe files over the home network to the computer in the basement. I says there is about 22 hours left to copy my files. Arghhhhhh |

Yes there is! I use it every day for backups. Install the cygwin shell (http://www.cygwin.com) and make sure you have rsync and openssh in the packages. It makes Windows life a LOT easier.
