Took the wife to see the new Adventure Outdoors today. What a huge place, hopefully they can keep it looking nice. Has to be the largest gun inventory in Ga. The wife looked at the new S & W bodyguard 380 and that seems to be the one she wants.
Came home and laid down for afternoon nap and hear commotion outside so I get up and look out and find a lady loading up my empty trash can into her truck, wtf!! I throw the clothes back on, jump in my truck and follow. Find her coming out of another driveway ast the end of the street. I pull in front to block her in and tell her she has 10 second to return my can. She proceeds to tell me it its hers. We discuss this for a minute and then I call the cops, let them help sort this out. While waiting for the police to show, turns out that she is the owner of the sanitation company. She is repo' ing her can from someone who hasn't paid, only problem is she didn't look at the number, just the street name. She calls her office to verify my status and comes back that I'm good to go. Cop shows up and we inform him that everything is ok and is a misunderstanding on her part. So she returns the can, appoligizes and offers a free month. I'm cool with everything and go inside and tell my wife what happens and she is rolling on the floor laughing. To finish the evening, I'm laying in bed and she walks in, looks at my safe and says, your safe is small compared to the big ones we saw today at AO. Just a normal day in my not so normal life! |
