a while back, someone (handydave?) posted a link to some high quality screwdriver bits for drills/cordless impacts.  they were a little pricey, but worth the money from all reports.  i've searched, and struck out.

can someone please post a link to that thread or a direct link to the website if you happen to know it?

thanks!

I don't think it was me.

If I remember correctly is was one of the pro grade like snap-on

I have been using out of the 25pks of Lowes Kobalt had on clearance a while back

My guys and I have 4 impacts and we haven't broken a bit yet

I generally use Ivy bits. We go through several a week and have never had one break. The corners of the bits will round after a few hundred screws but that seems pretty standard. The local farm supply sells them for .29 each so they are a good value.

I think it was the Wiha Dura bits.  I added it on my Amazon wishlist after reading the post.  Before I placed the order I ran into a Milwaukee rep that gave me a shockwave bit to try.  It hasn't stripped yet despite the horrible reviews on Amazon.  Once I see some wear, I'll order the Wiha bits.
