Anybody else been blown away like I was yesterday? Went there for the first time to pick up a Benelli shotty that I had won... and upon peeking around the corner from the parts store part, I was blown away... more goodies than one could immagine.... Got to handle a SCAR, and a few other items of importance before I left... If you have never been, it's definitely worth the trip to Butler GA....

Funstore is an understatement.  The old man that started it said he would make every effort to have a little bit of something in there.

I didn't even make it into the NFA room

Yes its the holy land when it comes to firearms....I live 7 miles form there.

And I damn near need a second job sometimes, because Barrows always has something I want.

My hometown is not far from there. The first time I went in there was around 1990-91. The place rocks.

Seriously?!

They have an "NFA room"?

They had a Kel-Tec RFB for $1,699 back in August.

its a place of pilgrimmage once a year for many of us.  they are probably the largest gun dealer in georgia. . . people travel far and wide to buy guns from them.  i used to manage the gun side of a pawn shop in macon and we weren't large enough to carry the inventory the benelli wanted us to have in order to be a dealer, so we actually bought from them, and they were cheaper than straight from benelli.  its ridiculous how much inventory they have, and if you are ever allowed into the back, you will not believe your own eyes.

Please tell me you are kidding. I have been in that store 5-6 times and all i saw was tons of guns but not an "nfa room"...is there a secrete password?

That guy will make you hurt when he tries to sell you a gun. I mean he was ripping deals at me so good that I just had to leave because my wife was going to kill me. Honest to god last time I went in there he was under cutting other stores on a few guns I wanted by a couple hundred dollars when I got to talking with him. When I told him I just couldn't do it right now he just smiled and said well I have 10 in the back so we should have one when you can. I love hate that place.

I will even say that I asked for him to call me when a remington 700 in .338 lapua came in. He said he only got 4 last time but would call me. He scribbled my name down on a notepad and I did not hear anything from them for almost 6 months. Then one day out of the blue, just after I had blown my wad on a new shotgun he called. I couldn't believe it.

Any idea how much the SCAR's were going for (couldn't find a phone number)?  I think when I do pick one up it'll either be there or 400J&L.

I live about 15 miles from Barrow.  It's fun to go in there every once in a while.  My family has been dealing with him since he opened the doors.

i lived 30 minutes from there for quite a few years, what a place, so frustrating. Mr Barrow never disappoints with stock. Wish I was closer with more money

I often drove past Barrows on my way to FT Benning or any points west. Always found deals there. It is very good for the sporting clays crowd as he has a vast selection of shotguns. I always headed straight for the used rack - I found a like new Remington 1100 28 gauge Sporting Clays for a steal. i heard that he was the highest volume Browning dealer in the nation.

Bo Barrow is a class act.  He used to be a lot bigger in nfa stuff and has a hell of a personal collection.  He is a genuine nice guy
