...will be from Ireland!  After I work my 12 hour shift, I swing by the house to shower and grab my shit, and then I am off to Ireland with my Fiancee!  Hell yeah!

Have fun!  Try some Red Breast whisky.  Outstanding stuff for a decent price.  Can be a bit hard to find in the States, and costs more over here.

You're not trying the right stores. I have no problem finding it. I like it but, Jameson 1780 is hands down better in my opinion.

Can't wait for the pictures!

Hope you have a safe, fun time.  I've always wanted to go to Ireland.

Ok, so I lied!  The next post after this one will be from Ireland! I just woke up at the fiancee's house after working all night.  We are going to be leaving here in teh next couple of hours.

This will be my 3rd trip to Ireland, but only the first time that I have flown into Dublin.  I liked flying into Shannon because even though its the second busiest/largest airport in Ireland, its so not busy!  Plus, I really like clearing U.S. Customs at the departure airport.  It just makes it so easy when hitting stateside; all you have to do is get off your plane and make your connecting flight.

Shep, does it work like that at Dublin too?  Or will we have to clear U.S. Customs when we hit Chicago on our return?

So for our first night, I booked us a room at a B&B across the street from Castle Trim, where Braveheart was filmed.  From there we go to my parents' house in Doolin until Friday morning.  Friday, we travel back to Dublin where I arranged for a room at the Bewly's Airport Hotel (upscale place).  We will taxi it into Dublin and see some sights (including the Garda Ireland National Police Museum) and have a fancy dinner somewhere.
