The car is packed and weighed, the movers come tomorrow, and first thing Saturday morning, my bride and I begin the long drive to Ft. Sill, OK. As a life-long Georgian, it will be quite different for me out there, but we are looking forward to our new adventure.
I just wanted to leave a note to thank you all for the hours of reading pleasure I got from this board. Most of you probably don't even recognize my user name, as I lurked more than posted, but I have enjoyed reading what you all have to say. I wish you all the best in your gun sales, legal battles, deployments, arrests, studies, child-rearing, teaching, and whatever else you may do. | You wont have to worry about Spanish too much in Lawton. I did my OSUT at Ft. Sill back in the early 90's and went back for schools a few times over the years. I really like the place. Don't know how it would be to live there permanently, but OK has some good folks. OK is OK in my book. |
