I had a few end cap strikes on my '08 AAC M4-1000.

After dropping it off, i contacted Mike Mers to find out the status.

He promptly emailed me back saying that the can needed to be replaced.

He offer a brand new M4-2000 and two mounts.

Yes, there is another transfer tax, but that is what i consider going above and beyond.

Thanks AAC, and Mike.

Rich

The stamp should arrive the same time as my 7.62 SDN-6 stamp.

Hell, the two mounts make up for the $200.

Awesome deal on the upgrade.

Where the endcap strikes caused by the mount?

No reason given for the strikes.

They were in odd places, and only end cap strikes.

I loved the can, but i'm sure the upgrade will even better.

Most likely, it seems like the can backing off is a very common problem.

Seth, the new can is a M4-2000, not 1000.

No, i do not get my old can back as that is what replacement means.

ah reading is fundamental!  didn't catch the 1000 vs 2000.

I wonder what caused the baffle strikes?
