Picked up my lower today from the guys at Cherokee....I was supposed to leave my wallet in the car so I wouldnt buy anything else, but I ended up coming out with s DMPS parts kit, MOE grip, enhanced trigger guard, and thanks to one of the employees, a rifle length stock/tube/buffer/spring.

Then a Magpul PRS stock is going behind her, with a Gissel SSA trigger

not sure on upper yet, thats long down the road....but as stated with parts choices, this is going to be a long range SPR.......

This is my first AR build, and Im not using any sort of guide. It took three beers, and an hour of staring at the magainze release to figure out how and the hell you installed it....that was funny

*** Im never coloring in engravings again. What a pain in the ass. CLP takes testors enamel right off....maybe it will take a day or two to cure, but still.....useless. Looks pretty for a fresh build though!

I picked it up today! And sorry for not replying to your text...I fell asleep and took a nice nap. I'm still out for tomorrow...it feels like its getting better, but knowing me I would do something tomomrrow to screw it all up and start back from square one- which isnt fun.

I like the gold on the seal, that looks real nice.  Mine is SPRish with an 18" White Oak SPR barrel, Yankee Hill smooth free float tube, A2 stock and a 3lb trigger job by Bill Springfield.  It works good for me and weighs about 10 lbs with bipod and scope.

That's pretty hot!  Is the state seal lower a custom item, or something stock?

Has nobody else really done theirs in gold? I figured everyone would... aren't most seals done in gold when on paper?

It was a custom lower that I made about 2 years ago.  There were only 126 made.
