Any body know of any good chemicals to get rid of the little bastards. All the good stuff has been taken off the market. ![]() ![]()

| The ones in GA aren't the least bit poisonous. They just have an annoying sting. I found it to be even weaker than a bee sting. I would think most barrier sprays would work, but chances are you have many more in your house than you think. Do you live around water, or in the Lanier area? They are prevalent around lake lanier. The hot weather is making them extremely active. |

I've seen 5 in my office in Athens in the past 4 weeks. Had pest control come out to spray around the building. I don't care if the sting is milder than a bee, they look nasty and I want them all gone. I have seen a few in Athens before. It has been a while though. Probably looking for a drink of water inside. |

Call http://www.domyownpestcontrol.com/ in Norcross GA and order up what they recommend, I've purchased from them in the past (walk in at the warehouse) and have never had any problems. I'd say some Cyper/Demon WP *(which they sell) would take care of your problems but they may have a product that works better. After thinking about it I remember I have some Demon WP I need to go spray around the foundation, it's not cheap but its the equivalent of nuking it from orbit. Search the site for "scorpion" for lots of results but I'd still call them. |

We use to leave a wet towel on the floor to attract them, then kill the ones you find there the next day. If you want the perimeter free of them then you will have to remove the things they like and secure and fill any holes or openings that they can wiggle into, which is about the thickness of a credit card. Also changing the lighting color on your exterior lights will help, this will attract less legged / flying insects and that is what they eat. Follow that up with a reputable interior and exterior spray and you should be pretty good. |

Scorpions and spiders, IIRC, tend to come into the house near water lines etc.Quarterly I spray the perimeter of the house. |

Quoted: Thanks for the replys. Guess I will take a trip over to Norcross and pickup some chemicals up. I've bought Demon WP at Ruckers Horse and Pet in Cumming before as well, I don't know how the price compares or if they carry it regularly but if you are close by it doesnt hurt to check. |
