Took a trigger pull test yesterday. Wanted to challenge the HTF.

Go find a double action revolver or a double action semi that has a heavy trigger pull.

See how many times you can pull the trigger in 60 seconds. Both strong and off hand.

Post up what type of gun and your results.

The only double action I have is a Heritage Rough Rider, so no dry firing for me.

Guess I am going to have to pull it out of the box and actually shoot it.

So, what exactly is the point of this challenge? Other than weak hand shooting ability.

I'd love to see the numbers on my S&W No. 3 but I'd hate to dry fire it that many times.

I can assume the numbers on my Rossi .38 would be very low.  I'm not home now so I can't try it, let's just say the DA pull is long and heavy.

It used to be a test that many large police departments, state and federal agencies used.  This was done back when wheel guns ruled the holsters.

The GBI does this as part of their fitness assessment.

They didn't say. I had 96 rh and 76 off hand with their old disabled s&w. He said I was right where they wanted me to be. So who knows.

Dude....Fail.

The test wasn't about physical fitness. It was to see if you'd leak information.
