Are there any good places to buy a utility trailer around GA? preferably not something more than two hours away from the Carrollton Area?

I am looking for a 6X12 Utility trailer, i found  this one and it seemed like a reasonable price compared to some others i have seen.

You should check Craig's List.

There are usually multiple stolen utility trailers for sale there from what I understand

that is a pretty light duty trailer.  it only has a 2100 lb capacity.

Yeah i just noticed that it doesn't look like it has a folding jack either, guess there is a reason its that cheap, i really would like something heavier duty.

It will be used for hauling a four wheeler some of the time but it will be used for hauling all sorts of stuff, moving, projects, anything i would need a trailer for.

i have one similar to this.  it has served me well.  i've moved twice, and hauled everything from gravel to 5000 lb tractor with it.

You need to come to McDonough and get a Big Tex trailer from the dealer next to out shop... They just made my dad a great deal on a 6x14.

Hooper trailers are made locally but my experience with most low end utility trailers is that need to be re-wired as soon as you drive off the lot. They use crimp on connectors not intended for use where heavy vibrations are present. The heat shrink type but connectors make an excellent replacement.

Sundowner Trailers in Covington is where I got my 6x10. It would be onthe extreme side of your 2 hr range butthey have a huge stock.

They also have a current inventory on the website.
Here are the cargo trailers...

DO NOT Buy a Hooper, Carry On or a Anderson if you plan on using it ... All are made here in Georgia but are of very low quality.

That's funny. I have had everything from Anderson's 4X8 to 30 odd foot dove tails, and not a problem from Anderson. Overloaded all of 'em most of the time they hold up well. YMMV.

I have a 5yr old 6x8 carry on and the only problem i have is that it rusts if you look at it.  Other than that, no problems.  It has 15" tires and a wood deck that has held up well.

Do not buy a new one. There are some killer deals out there. I just picked up a 6x14 dual axle landscape trailer from a guy going out of business for $600.00. It was in great shape wood floor and landscapers box cage on the front.  I kept my eye out for about 6 weeks and found this one while driving around. Saw one with a for sale sign on it.  They are out there, just be patient and look around. Lots of landscapers going out of business.
