| I will be buying a small .380 for packet carry. It will be bought @ bass pro because I have gift cards from christmas and i have bass pro points. They carry the Kel Tec p380 , Ruger lcp and the Taurus tcp. I think i am parcel to the tcp but i would like to get some opinions on the subject. |

I'd recommend you pick up a Sig P232 before buying anything. Should be around for $400 or just a little less. for pocket carry?
you mean p238? Even that is not a "pocket carry" weapon in my book. Too heavy....look into the Smith & Wesson bodyguard 380 if they carry it. you're more than welcome to pick mine up and take it for a test drive before you buy. |

I owned a P230 for a long time and sold it. Only gun I ever regret selling. Wish I still had it. But, for "pocket carry" I'll stick with my J-frame. I don't care for any of the firearms listed in this poll. They simply don't impress me in the least. Just my opinion. Mark |

I would buy it just because I love Smith and wesson arms but bass pro dose not stock it and they do not special order guns...so they say |

| When I started my search for a pocket pistol I started with the exact same three pistols. And I ended up with a Kel-tec P32 from GoldenLoki with the Reliability Plus package (apparently the Plus is not available any longer). |
| I have the LCP. Out of the ones listed I would still go with the LCP. With other options I'm not sure if I would stick with it though. The LCP trigger pull is lllloooooonnnnnggggg. Remember the old saying it shoud be a surprise when the weapon fires? Well with the LCP it's always a surprise after a lot of "damn, isn't this thing going to fire?" going on in my head. Actually in a real stress situation it probably isn't that bad but it's annoying on the range. |

Quoted: Make sure you try them –– the trigger pull on the Ruger LCP sucks compared to the SW Bodyguard I was about to say... No Smith in the poll? No Diamondback (I don't know how it is, just another thing to look at) Wonder why they don't carry those. I mean, maybe not the Diamondback, but I would've thought big name store would have the big name pistol. |
| I have the Diamond Back .380, I love it and have never had a FTF with it, but it's picky on the shooter and it's not caused by limpwristing. Seems like I'm the only one so far that can shoot mine, so far everyone else who hasn't been able to get more than 1 or 2 rnds out of the chamber before it bottlenecks, but personally I have fired around 400 rnds through it without any problem whatsoever. I will be buying the DB9 as soon as I can. |

I bought one and love it. |

We own 2 of the LCPs and here is why.
It is small Is it reliable It is small and therefore I will carry it more often. Put it in one of these and it slides in your back pocket like a wallet. So if someone demands your wallet, you have reason to get in your back pocket to get the wallet, aka gun.. http://www.concealedcomfort.com/keltec.shtml. About 6 other sheepdogs have seen the light and bough the same setup. This carries well in shorts, jeans and dress pants. |

I love this little gun for carry in the summer under a T shirt. Reliable, reliable, reliable......... |

I voted LCP because I have one. At the time I was looking at the P3AT or the LCP. I prefer the styling of the LCP and thought it was worth the slightly higher price.
If I were in the market now, I'd take a really close look at the DiamondBack. It looks like it might be a little bit thicker in the grip, but the sights look nice. |
