I am putting together a hike for my Cub Scout pack at Pickett's Mill in Paulding county in January. Wondering if there are any civil war buffs here that may might interested in coming out and talking to them, especially if you have period weapons/replicas to show (obviously not shoot). Most interested in what a "life in the day" for a soldier would look like.

Not a historian by any stretch, but maybe if you labeled it "The War of Northern Aggression" you would get more responses

I have several good friends who belong to the Sons of Confederate Veterans. Give me the info and I will pass it on to them.
They love to do stuff like this. They are also out of the camp here on the west side.
