| I'm headed to the probate court to get the ball rolling on getting a carry permit. So my question is how much cash do I need to take with me since they upped the price in august? |

Call and ask them what the amount is before heading up there so you have correct change. Think mine was under $40 in Dekalb county.
ETA: Just checked their probate website and its now $78, did the cost go way up or am I crazy? I don't remember paying that much a few years back. |

| I costs twice as much to change the printer to say GWL instead of GFL. Carrying a knife will cost you extra! :) Besides someone will have to pay for all the wasted money that our State spent on lawyers trying to beat GAPacking.org. GA Packing.org kicked their asses big time. |

Mine was just renewed through Cobb, I believe it was 80 and change and it states Weapons Carry License. Went in on the 15th, they asked if I would like a temp. license and I got the new one in the mail today. I am trying real hard to swallow that I am paying to exercise a right.  FWIW, there is nothing on the back like on the previous licenses. |
